There are two web SHOPS on the www.vincentspares.co.uk web PAGE that's where you will find the links for spares shop, regalia club shop and bike sales and instructions on use. Books are classified as regalia, regalia is organised by the club (in spite of not having a regalia officer for years and thus loosing out on a lot of income) the spares company just pick and pack as there is no member discount you don't have to register to buy

I wish I knew what the book was like. I ordered one and had dreadful trouble with the ordering process, but in the end it appeared to go through.

After approximately a week and after nothing arrived I ordered another and as far as I am aware that has not arrived either.

I only want one copy and will be really pissed off if :-

1) 2 arrive and I pay for two and have the hassle of returning one to get a refund.

2) If none arrive and I pay for one, or two.

3) If one arrives and I pay for two.

Not impressed at all.

David - if you do receive two, let me know and I'll get it sorted for you.

Unfortunately, the books are sold on the Club's behalf through the Spares Company and we don't have anything to do with it.

I really do wish we could find a Club Member to help run the Club Shop, and with most Members now retired, you'd think it would be easy, but it's proved difficult to find someone since Ray Smith retired many years ago.

Anyone else interested in helping the Club?

When looking on the Spares Company's web shop, you need to click on a separate link to find the Club's regalia and publications as shown below…

What did you think of the book David?

I think the book is excellent. I would think for most here on the forum it is a necessary addition to the library because it covers almost all the topics that have been discussed. It covers the last 18 years of technical articles right up to MPH 827. Steve Ebbs did a large amount of work to present the book in the most useful way. After proof reading, Graham upgraded many of the photo illustrations making them more legible in the larger format of A4. Jeff and Lynn Bowen provided all the information in their possession that had not been published to Steve.
Opening to a random page:

I believe that is Vince's article on identifying the various steering heads and the begining of Martyn's article on head Brackets.

If you do not have all of the MPH's, this is a big help. If you do have all the MPH's, it is one stop shopping, instead of hunting through dozens of MPH's. Finally, it is 429 pages of technical information. I was surprised when I read it that I remembered so few of the details.

NO you don't the easy and correct link is on the company web SITE not the spares SHOP goto www.vincentspares.co.uk
The link you quote is just a backup link which is all the shop software allows unfortunately short cuts to the spares shop rather than the company cause confusion using a back door may be quicker but you can get lost in the house
