Summer Classic Bike Show & Bikejumble
Sunday 15th July
South of England Showground, Ardingly, West Sussex RH17 6TL

Bill Snelling’s famous Isle of Man FoTTofinders photograph exhibition comes on tour to the mainland at Ardingly this Sunday, raising money for the TT and MGP marshals and supporters Club. Find it in the Stockmans Hall, where seating is available all day, the ideal place to take a break and eat your sandwiches!

Also in the Stockman’s Hall find Vintage to Voltage: together with my friend Carla McKenzie I’m riding from London to Paris via green lanes as much as possible. I’ll be riding my 92-year Triumph Model Q and Carla is riding her new Zero electric motorcycle, despite the age gap both bikes have a similar range of around 80 miles a day. We’re raising money for three good causes: Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance Trust, DDMT and The Joan Seeley Trust, For more details, or to donate visit https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/. We’ll be next to the Trail Riders Fellowship (Sussex Branch), who are providing support with the route.

Meanwhile there’ll be loads of goodies in the autojumble, visit www.elk-promotions.co.uk for the latest updates.

I heard about this some months ago. I figured if the main attraction was the celebration of the B S A bantam, this was not the show to take the norvin to.
