Yup, three carbs, three cylinders. On a tricked up motor you can squeeze 3 930's on the manifold but need to make new flat tops and no chokes.

I meant to say that on the Rapide I just finished I put the original carbs back on it as they showed very little sign of wear. "Air Cleaners" was noted on the build sheets and they were still on the bike and had done the job as the carbs were in great shape. On start up after 55 years laying dormant however it idled very rich and 8 stroked on the initial pick up of the throttle. Investigation showed I had overlooked the cutaways which were a 6/2. Not sure if that was from new but a quick order to Burlen and 6/4's installed and it runs beautifully. Will sit and idle at a nice low tickover for a long time. I actually had to take a little wet and dry to one of the carbs as the slide was a little tight, and not out of round either.

626 Amals were also fitted to 500 Triumphs. I've still got three of the four Daytona 500s I've bought and all have 626s as does the spare engine currently under the bench. Those fitted to the 500s are 26mm. So you need to check bore size to see what you have.
