The Vincent H.R.D. Owners Club FAQ

HOW TO JOIN: Log-on to www.vincentownersclub.co.uk Once there you won’t be able to do too much, as you must register first...

1. Click on ‘Register’;

2. Type in your ‘User Name’ — this can be anything you like (your nickname, your real name — absolutely anything, as long as it’s over five characters);

3. Enter the password you’d like, then confirm it in the box underneath;

4. Enter your e-mail address, then confirm it in the box underneath;

5. Enter the model of any Vincent motorcycle. This step helps to stop ‘spammers’ setting up accounts;

6. The rest of the information on this page is pretty self explanatory — just fill out the required information, then read and accept the Forum rules and click on ‘Complete Registration’ at the bottom of the page;

7. Hopefully you’re now looking at a message telling you that an e-mail has been sent to complete your registration;

8. Check your e-mail software and you will hopefully find a message in your inbox — this should come through pretty quickly. Open the message and click on the first link, and your account is now activated! It’s as easy as that.

9. Click on ‘Forums’ at the bottom of the message box, and you should be taken back to the VOC Forum and you’re up and running!

If you're NOT a Member of the Vincent H.R.D. Owners Club, your registration is now complete and you may go and have a good look through our forums.

If you ARE a Member of the Vincent H.R.D. Owners Club, and you'd like your access privileges upgraded so you can get to the 'Members Only' area, please the instructions in 'Upgrading Your Membership Status'.

If you ARE a Member of the Vincent H.R.D. Owners Club, and you'd like your access privileges upgraded so you can get to the 'Members Only' area, please follow these simple steps...

1. Visit www.vincentownersclub.co.uk

2. At the top of the screen towards the far right, click on ‘Settings.’

3. In the boxes on the left of the screen you will find ‘My Settings’ / ‘My Account’ / ‘Permission Groups’. Click on ‘Permission Groups’.

4. There will be just one additional group for you to join - click on the first ‘Join Group’ button and then second ‘Join Group’ button to take you to the next page.

5. Next you need to input your membership number, name, address and postcode as held by the Club in the following format ‘X123 — Mr J Bloggs — 123 High Street, Anytown, Anyshire AB12 3CD’. If you don’t have access to this information, check the envelope that your last copy of MPH came in.

6. When you have input the correct information into the relevant box, click on the ‘Send Request’ button.

7. Once you submit this form, your request to give you full access to this forum will be placed in a queue. Unfortunately this request has to be carried out manually by Club Volunteers and may take some time — please be patient!
